My 1:1 cooking essentials session has been such an amazingly pleasant experience. It's intimate on a level where it's like you're on a video call with one of your home girls and you two are cooking together and having a good time. It gives you the vibe that it's a safe zone where you don't have to be embarrassed or afraid to mess up. Jahnela really knows her stuff and it very informative! That's one of the most important things I look for when booking with coaches/trainers/nutritionist. You can also tell she is passionate about nutrition and overall wellness which is really satisfying to know; it gives trust and solid foundation of what she's teaching and all the things you'll be able to take from the experience and apply to yourself. One of my favourite parts about this service is that it's very adaptive and she is able to work with what you have. You won't have to go out your way if you're lacking on certain equipment/ingredients and knowledge. This service is very beginner friendly. After my experience I'm now more confident and comfortable cooking healthy and tasty dishes. Im also have more knowledge on certain foods that I haven't before. Jahnela has given me the boost that I needed in my fitness and wellness journey.

Overall my rating is 10/10 and would highly recommend!

I've done the nutrition coaching with Jay and she's amazing before starting this, I was very unmotivated with cooking and not having a healthy relationship with food. Jay is very knowledgeable and patient, she listened to me and understood my situation, we started with something easy and simple by prepping breakfast meals. After realizing how easy it was and how amazing it felt I really started to like being in the kitchen much more and now I look forward to it every time!

I had the absolute pleasure of having a 1:1 Cooking Essentials Session with Jahnela and I am not exaggerating when I say it was nothing short of amazing. This session has done so much to restore my relationship with food and make me excited to get creative and cook again. The grocery list and plan that was exclusively made for me made it so easy to shop for the ingredients needed; there were even additional smoothie and juice recipes in there that I was able to try. Jahnela does a great job at making you feel comfortable throughout the session but also provides much needed advice and guidance for the future. I’ve since made the revamped avocado toast she taught me in class and its become a family favourite. I have recommended this service to all of my family and friends because I believe nutrition is such a key part of our life and its great to know that the foods we already have in our fridge can be put together to create something not only tasty but healthy as well.
